Scott Adams, of Dilbert Fame, On Media Lies

A great blog entry by Scott Adams yesterday about the narrative-pushing media, using an example which clearly exposes the chief tactic.

It is sad how rigged the media has become…You can almost picture a media with media heads SITTING with Hillary, asking what strategy they’d like them to do…..It really has gotten that obvious…….
It will be interesting how Trump counters this……He won’t sit back and take it like the last few conservative candidates have……Plenty of ammunition to attack the medias hypocrisy, along with those other candidates….

It says a lot about what social media specifically has done to society. Controversy sells.

I read a fake story today, well, the first couple of paragraphs, and then wondered why I hadn’t seen it anywhere else. Snopes had an entry on it, it turned out, and the story came from a website that is fake news and says some of its news stories may be total creations. This was NOT an Onion-type satire website; they had real-sounding articles that may or may not be complete fabrications. They did it for the clicks, as they sold advertising. I could not believe it.

Hey, the commercial with Hillary barking then Putin laughing isn’t a bad start!
