Does Phil Mickelson Use Clorox When He Launders Money?

The hits just keep coming for Phil Mickelson.  First he was mixed up with an insider trading scheme (Clorox and Dean Foods), and now we hear he’s connected to a money-laundering scheme for a gambling operation.

Forget Phil . NBC and Univision have publicly cut ties with Donald Trump after his anti Mexican racist rant. Tiger Woods and Trump are in partnership to build a course in Dubai . Woods was incensed at the tame parody Jan Jenkins did on him and was quite vocal about it. But in the 10 days since Trump launched his racist attack Woods has said nothing? It appears he his happy to be in partnership with a racist like Trump.

I am not really up to speed on this. Did NBC drop Trump’s television shows? (I assume they were still on? I was not a viewer.) I’ll have to go do a search to find what Trump said.
Wait, though. Isn’t Trump running for prez? NBC would have to cut ties, no?

They dumped his Miss World and his reality show, claiming his racist rant against Mexicans was unacceptable. Same goes of Univision…the Spanish speaking TV network. Trump has banned Univision staff from his hotels and courses and is threatening to sue both companies. Bottom line is Trump went on a VERY public racist rant ( NOT like Donadl Stirlings private rant ) Woods is a partner of Trump in a Middle East venture. As a high profile member of an ethnic minority who makes all these claims about Charlie Sifford etc isn’t it Woods moral duty to dump Trump?

Ok, I’ve grown less and less interested in ‘racist rants’…….First of all, I mostly agree with Trump statement on Mexicans…..Tell me what he said that isn’t correct? Second of all—who really cares, and third of all—who really, really cares? Freedom of speech is there for a reason….Hate speech is the most backwards legislation ever passed in a ‘freedom of speech’ society……

Believing that a sovereign nation should have secure borders doesn’t strike me as racist either.

Does anyone believe that Mexico’s best and brightest are the ones entering the US illegally? It’s more like back when Castro emptied his prisons when the US allowed those refugees in. Look at the number of violent crimes and the drug trafficking in which illegals aliens are involved.

But now, even using the term “illegal alien” is considered “racist.”

It would appear that two huge corporations care. It would appear that Mexico cares.

I’ve always liked Phi, but this is kind of sad really. How much money does he need? Or is it just a love of gambling and trying to win there too. Even regarding the alleged insider trading, if you ever play the market, that too feels like gambling.

    • Sports-realist2 says:

Here’s probably what has happened—–hold on to your seats….Phil has probably BET on himself to win tournaments…….GASP!!!!!!! Yep, and I can tell you Michael Jordan, Charles Barkley, Pete Rose, and HOST of other pro players have done the same thing…

To be honest, this story doesn’t interest me much and I don’t know what the PGA rules are on betting. Placing bets like his famous bet on the Super Bowl when he won a bundle by picking the winner (Ravens back in 2000 I think) before the season started was a Vegas bet, perfectly legal. This case sounds like one of those offshore gambling websites which skirt the law.

It’s the good old USA at it’s best. In most States you can’t put a $5.00 bet on your fav team to win the Superbowl but you can stroll into your local walmart and buy a semi automatic gun.

Don’t you think it’s bad, though, regardless of how you feel about any of this, that the Golf Channel has three people state — matter of factly — that Mickelson was cleared of the insider trading charges when the investigation is ongoing?
