Sunday, Day Four: Irish Open, Byron Nelson Semi Live Blog

6:05 pm Update:

BOWDO gets ‘er done!

12:30 pm: Eddie Pepperell is in a three-way playoff with Wiesberger and Kjeldsen at the Irish Open.  Matthew Fitzpatrick finished T-8, his best finish in quite some time.  Rickie Fowler, star of the American PGA Tour, could do no better than T-30 on the European Tour.

The gritty little Dane gets it done!  With a 360-degree putt to win in a playoff!  Kind of fitting Kjeldsen won.

In the Byron Nelson, Lanny H is endorsing Jimmy Walker, with Bowdo our second pick.  Spieth is still our overriding favorite, but he’s too far back, behind too many.  DJ is growing on us, though he’s not a top favorite of Lanny H Golf.

Yeah that little Dane couldn’t the short putts to save his life down the stretch, and needed back to back 360 degree turns to win…His hunched over putting style could have something to do with that, esp when the pressure gets turned on…..BUT, he won and that’s all that matters….

Remind me again why ANY fan should give a crap about the Fed ex cup?

Cool for Bowditch to win on the course he got married at. In unrelated news, I just discovered drone flyovers of every hole at Chambers Bay hosted by Holly Sonders and Gil Hanse on the Foxsports youtube channel.

Oh, cool. I’ve been thinking about doing an update of those Seattle TV stations vids; they must be about on the final hole by now. I’ll put links in for the Holly Sanders’ flyovers, too. Thanks for the heads-up.

At the mention by Kris, I went to YouTube and did a search for “Drones at Chambers Bay” If you have the auto play on, you can start at 1 and it’ll automatically move through all 18 without having to do anything! Just did it, pretty slick and…..damn that looks like a helluva course! Has me wanting to try and book a trip at the first possible chance!

Cool. I’ll have to check it out. Thanks.
