ABC News: “Testosterone can be used to treat performance anxiety”

[The posts will be coming fast and furious over the course of the next three days.]

I just read our headline quote in an ABC News article and wanted to pass it along.  Even the mainstream media is catching on now:

By his own admission, [A-Rod] began using steroids in 2001, after signing what was then the largest contract in sports history, for fear of not being able to live up to the expectations. (Testosterone can be used to treat performance anxiety.)

Boom!  It’s a lot easier to play golf when you use testosterone.  It provides a mental edge as well as a physical edge.  Think a performance anxiety drug might give a golfer steadier hands when putting?

That’s not news to readers of Lanny H Golf; you’ll remember the great Reader Guest Commentary last August that delved into this subject matter.  The news is that the mainstream media is reporting it.
